Here are some pictures from Noosa:
Noosa is famous for its cristal clear water.. |
This picture is the view from our veranda.
Reading is an important part of the CAE. ;-)
The first day went by pretty fast. In the morning we had our entry exams (where we did not too bad... we had 71% and 74%. One passes the exam with 60%...). In the afternoon we had a BBQ from the school and we played cricket (our group won two boxes of beer...).
Today we started studying. We are in the same class (the best in the 3 CAE classes ;-)) since we have both about the same level. And there is really much to learn. Tough for Flo the lessons are a little bit to slow...
We already have bought one bike for our way to school and the second is nearly bought.
If you want to know more about our school activities you can always have a look at the blog of our school: gvnoosablog.com There is also a photo of all cambrigde students, at GV Noosa. We are by the way about 95% swissgerman students..

hello dears
I try it in Englisch though I am not used to it anymore.
We are back from our bike holiday in Germany and I just had a look in your blog.
It was very interesting and exciting to read of all your activities and experiences you have already made. Also the many nice pictures you have taken are wonderful.
It is unbelivable how active you were on your first both school days. Frist of all the entry exam, which you passed successfully (congratulation), then a BBQ, a cricket game and at last you bought one or almost two bikes.
Your home for the next 3 months looks very comfortable and homy.
We look forward to hear from you soon und wish you all the best for your studying.
Lots of love Ursula
Oh yeah, I totally sucked at the Reading part during Proficiency exam ;) But even more so at Use of English, where it's said that 90% of the students in Proficiency fail anyway -.-
Oh God, only Swissgerman people? I'd die. I hate meeting Swiss people on holiday xD d'you speak English with each other as well? I had a couple in Costa Rica, that sticked to speaking Spanish to each other during 2 hours a day :) I thought that was a nice idea ^^
We hope you're doing well in Noosa and your host family is nice to you ;)
For us university starts again on Monday, but first we will show the first years around tomorrow. That'll be fun :D
Love from sunny and warm Zurich :)

Y porqué no puedo escribir en español? Porqué sólo en ingles o alemán? pfff ;-) It's really nice to hear you started well. And I'm excited to see you improving. Actually there is room for improvement, though not much. :-) We are quite well at home, but Anina has had a "Schnuddernase" (love that german word!) for over a week now.
All the best,
MAM's
Si, podemos escribir en español también, pero nadie va a comprender :P
Did I get that right that your host family is called BOND?!
