Noosa the third

Thanks for all the nice comments! Of course you can write in spanish or an other language if you want, but it's not sure if we will understand it...

Today, we didn't start very good. We wanted to go with our bikes to school, but one tire was flat.. So we dicided to take the bus, which we missed just by inches.. The second one just drove pass us, as we were waiting at the station! Apparently one has to hail for the bus or it won't stop even if you're sitting right in front of it. Finally we catched the third one, which brought us five minutes too late..

Our homestayfamily is really great (and yes our homestaymother is called Bond (she comes also from the UK)). We usually eat dinner together (lunch is at school and we don't get up at the same time in the morning...). They don't know how to jass yet, but perhaps we'll teach them.

In the picture of the school blog we're in front of somebody in blue clothes. And I really attended the yoyo-contest (only because there was a prize for the worst yoyo-player. But unfortunately I wasn't as bad, as I hoped I would be...)

So that's it for today.

all the best and greetings from sunny Noosa.

So, so. Scho zschpat i dSchuel cho. Immer die Zürcher. Aber defür hämmer scho vo andere Sitte und Gebräuche ghört. Isch doch luschtig, dass mer am Bus winke muess. Was heisst eigentlich: H.I.L.A.R.I.O.U.S. wo dCarmen am Schluss gschriibe hät? Hüt chunt dAnina uf Bsuech drum gang i jetzt no de Zmittag go vorbereite. Es gitt Herdöpfel und Rüebli :-). Gitts überhaupt Veloflickmaterial in Auschtralie? Liebi Grüess

Hi Flolis
It's always the same with the public traffic...
Have you got a bicycle repair kit? At least you know how to repair a flat tyre, isn't it? Wish you good luck!
Saturday we're going to the bike tour around the city. Unfortunately the wheather forecast is not good. We'll not have the same as you...
I still didn't find you on the picture... are you on the left or on the right side of the picture? What are you wearing?
Villi Grüess Felix

I'll just say: D'OH!
Yeah, I bet you'd have to flag it down... don't worry about being 5 minutes late. When Nadine and I were in France we'd always be 20min late, because there was no other bus at that time -.- The teacher always said "Ooooooh, c'est pas grave" xD

I think I've found you on the pictures right away. Are you on the right side kneeling in front...? Oliver is wearing a blue t-shirt? I hope it's you, otherwise I'd be really confused...

btw: writing in English is good practice for me as well :)

Yes, that's me. And next to me you can of course see Flo with a black T-shirt!

We had to change the hole tube because it had such a big hole... Phill, our homestayfather, helped us. But now our bikes are ready.

For H.I.L.A.R.I.O.U.S. I think you just have to take out the points... and than it means like something very funny.

We have school from 9:00 to 12:15 (With a short 15min. break). And then from 13:00 to 14:00 another lesson. After that we have GIL (it's pronounced gil with g (and not j) and hasn't anything to do with chill...) which means guided individual learning. We have to do some exercises there and a teacher is present to answer our questions.

So now we go to a School Party... With our bikes of course (so there won't be a lot of drinking for the two of us ;-) ).
